If you filed fields for the 2023 carbon crop:

What’s next?

You’re all set! We’ll process your records and then determine how many credits your fields generated, before independent review by the verifiers and registry. Once this process is complete, we’ll reach out to you and process your payment, likely in early 2025. Learn more about carbon credit payment.

Start entering records now for 2024 events. If you’re planning on making practice changes on new fields, make sure to enroll them now. Consider stacking another practice change on an enrolled field to maximize profits - our agronomic tools can help.

If you filed in a previous year but didn’t file any fields in the 2023 carbon crop:

What’s next?

Your payments are paused until you file again, but you’ll still be able to get paid for credits generated by your 2023 practice changes. Your next opportunity to file fields and get paid will be later this year.

In order to continue generating payments on your fields, you need to enter field records for each year that you’re enrolled in the program to demonstrate that you’re continuing with qualifying practice changes.

What’s next?

It’s time to start (or continue) entering your historical field records so that you’re ready to generate carbon credits and get paid in the next Carbon Harvest. You’re not too late, even if it’s been several years since you enrolled - you can submit records for up to 5 cultivation cycles from the year you started your practice change in one Carbon Harvest.

The upcoming Carbon Harvest is your next opportunity to file for carbon credits and get paid. If you’re planning on making practice changes on new fields, make sure to enroll them now to maximize your potential payment in the next Carbon Harvest.

Enrolled after September 1, 2023

Welcome to the program! You can start entering records now to be ready for your first Carbon Harvest later this year. Carbon Harvest is the process of filing records, generating carbon credits and getting paid for the credits you generate. Filing records can take time, so many growers find that it’s easy to enter as they go.
