We have two features to help you better manage your events:

  1. Draft Events: Whether you are entering records manually or importing from another system like John Deere Operations Center, you can save an event as a draft before filling out all the required fields and come back to finalize it later!

Note: You will not be able to attach supporting documents to draft events. Once you complete the event and save it, the option will be available to you where applicable.

  2. Events from multiple sources: If you are importing records and entering records manually, you may end up with duplicate events from those different sources. You are now able to eliminate duplicates easily by selecting which event source you want to use!

Watch this short video for a demonstration of these new features, then check out the step-by-step guide below.

Step-by-step Guide

For Draft Events:

Step 1: If you have started filling out an event but don't have all the details handy, you can save your work by clicking the Save & Resume Later button

Step 2: In the event list at the left you can see it labeled as a Draft. If you import partial events, they will also show up as Draft events that you can review and complete,

Step 3: Complete your draft event and click Update Event to save or Update & Copy to Other Fields if you want to apply this event to other fields.

For events from multiple sources:

Step 1: Our system will detect if there are duplicate events for the same year from different sources. You can choose which event to keep by clicking the Change source button at the top of the event.

Step 2: This will open a window that shows a summary of similar or duplicate events. Select the event you want to keep then click Load Data.

Step 3: Click Update Event to save!
